change in maritial status

Post by nandini_bn » Wed Mar 02, 2016 9:40 am

Hello,
I am currently on Tier 2 visa and recently I got married to my partner who is also on Tier 2 visa. None of us will be dependant on each other for visa. I do not intend to change my surname. Do I still need to inform the UKBA authorites about my status change ? If so, how do I do it ? It would also be helpful, if anyone can list down the other relevant authorities we would need to inform for the same,

Many thanks

The rest of your question relates to personal/family matters not immigration so that aspect would be best located in the Settling In forum.
