Joint primary carer

My wife and I have 3 children and we have all been granted 30 months as our eldest child is 14. Our 2nd child has now become British as was born here and over 10 year old. It will be so expensive to renew our visas in August. My advisor says I cannot do the DRF1 case as we are legally here. But we really want the 5 years for £65.

Can somebody tell us what to do. What if we applied a few days after our visa is finished ??
