EEA 2 Questions

Hi everyone,
I'm an Italian citizen and now I live with my husband in Italy.He's not an EU citizen because he's from Dominican Republic. We want to move in Uk so he asked for an EEA family permit to travel with me in Uk. We planned to live in Uk because I want to find a job as soon as possible once we'll arrive. Now I want to know what my husband has to do to work too. I read something about a EEA2 o residence card. With this EEA 2 will he be able to work? And when we arrive in Uk what can I have to do to get residence card? Have I do one for me too?
