English Language Requirements Post Nov 15 Changes

Hi All
Firs time poster but long time reader
Did a search for it on this forum but may have missed it as an oversight.

My wife's initial spouse visa to settle in the UK with Husband who is a UK resident is due to expire in 6 weeks time.
This is the initial 2 years and 6 months settlement visa
Hadn't realised that as of November 2015 the HO had changed language requirements

She completed her Cambridge English Skills for life at Entry Level 3 which was awarded in May 2014. Would this suffice for language requirements or does a new SELT with Trinity GERS2 or ICE need to be completed to fulfil the FLR (m).
