Under the old rules, they expect you to complete 6 years of DLR.

Thnx for your reply, but how come a friend of mine single had three years discretionary leave and just few weeks ago had ilr ? He only had been here less than nine years
Can I turn this down and apply for ilr under another form (I used dl form )?
Thank you

There's probably no harm in requesting a reconsideration, citing the earlier, more favourable, judgment.

Perhaps your friend was lucky. Unfortunately, a later judgment apparently supported the UKVI's position.

Moreover, as you only have two more years to go before completing 6 years on DLR, it's probably easier to apply for ILR at that time.

Dear All, I don't know how to ask question on this forum. I have very serious difficulty I am on DLR on the basis of 7 year child granted on 201. In 2017 I have to apply for ILR but sadly I am convicted on domestic violence and separated from the children and wife but I am trying to get access through family court. Please answer my question in case if I get permission to see the children or can't get access to see the children what will be my future. Will my DLR be extended or not or possible.
