Is copy of BRP required for Tier 2 General dependent?

Hi, I and my wife need to apply for Tier 2 General visa (wife is dependent). The plan is - first I (Indian national) will apply from Norway because I am legal resident here and then my wife will apply from India because it's not been over 6 months for her here.

My question - will my wife need to submit a copy of the BRP when she applies in India? Because I will not get my BRP until I arrive in UK. Or will the copy of visa vignette from my passport be enough for her to apply?

Anyone with a similar case where the dependent applied separately only on the basis of visa vignette and not the actual BRP?
