Naturalization as british Citizen - a few questions

Post by Freeman16 » Thu Mar 17, 2016 7:06 pm

Hello fellow members, I need your advice: I have been on ILR since 23rd of March 2015 so I'm due to apply for naturalisation from next week it will be through NCS. These are my journeys so far:

Enter UK on student visa 2004. Always make in-time application for renewals. I made application for renewal in December 2009 and HO refused the application in August 2010 but I was given a chance for an appeal, this appeal was successful in the grounds that I married a BC in January 2010 I couldn't apply for spouse visa then because partner was 19 then she must be over 22 to assist me. I was given 3 years discretionary leave in April 2011. Application was made in April 2014 for renewal and was granted in June 2014.

In January 2015 I apply for ILR (10 years rule) got approved in March 2015 so I'm due for naturalisation from this March though I'm still married but me and partner are not living together. She hasn't been supporting my application from on-set. My lawyer didn't apply through when I renewed my resident permit in 2014 as she wasn't willing willing to help. So now, can I tick 'marry' or 'separate' in marital status section and MUST i fill the section about her details?
Also, my current address is not safe to receive letters can I use my friend's address for correspondence? Thank you guys in advance giving me beneficial advice.

You need to state your current status, if married state: married.

Give partner details and their address.
If you want to explain special circumstances write them in 'additional info' section of form.

You need to state your current address as checks will be run against you.

If you want to include your representative's address then do so in appropriate section of form.

Thank you noajthan for your response. What if I'm only sending the application without a lawyer?
