Important ILR question

Post by Humza7 » Mon Mar 21, 2016 1:34 am

Hi

I am British and am in the process of applying for ilr for my wife. I am disabled reciving dla. and my wife isnt working since she's arrive here.

The issue which I have is that the LHA and CTR is only in my name. I am unclear whether it should be in both names. I have told the council that my wife is here and has been here for 2 years.

We postponed our ILR appointment date because we are waiting for the letter stating both our names for LHA and council tax. I have informed the council that my wife has no recource to public funds. We have paid the ILR fee and filled out the form. We have all our documents ready except this letter.

Is it important to wait for this letter?
Also I have noticed that the fee is increasing, since we have already paid the fee, do we need to pay the new fee?

I would like to thank you in advance and look forward to hearing from you.

Kind Regards
Humza
