change request from Post Dated EC to EC from dateof stamping

Hi All,

I need a suggestion, I have requested for post dated EC. But now my company is willing to send me to UK on HSMP. But the problem is client wants me to present there immediately. Can i change request from post dated EC to EC to be valid from date of stamping? My current status is Integra Verification Report is received by BHC but a decision has to be made.

Can I request the BHC, if so how, via mail, phone or fax?

Why don u call the VFS & check the possibility, better bet wud be to email them n parelly fax them..try all the ways to pass this information..anyways you are giving a genuine reason...

I need a help, how to find if the BHC has received the integra report, cos i filed for EC on 3rd dec & on 11 dec the verification took place in company..but cant able to get info whether the BHC have received the report..hw did u find this, is it u emailed? can u share the sample mail format n email id?

By the way I got the status from BHC. I mailed them at Chennai.Visaenquiry@fco.gov.uk

Thanks for the post & i had mailed a similar content to them twice, one on dec 12 & other on 18..but no reply till now... ....Does it mean tat my EC is goin somewere wrong?
Have you decided hw to inform the BHC on ur request to prepone the date of visa?

Hi Lion,

I had written to them after consulting the VFS. They replied back saying that the request is noted and attached with my case.

I am really surprised that they have not replied to you. Altogether I have mailed them thrice and everytime they mail me back within an hour.

I am sure that their replying to mails have nothing to do with your application!! Atleast that doesn't make sense.

Anyway I am also greatly concerned about my application as this is the 17th Working day and people who have applied after me have got their EC stamped!!

Anyway lets hope for the best!!

Hi guys,

This is what the VFS website says about my EC application:

"Your application is ready for collection; please visit the UK Visa Application Centre where you submitted your visa application to collect the same 04 Jan 2008"

In case of approvals I have seen that the website says "PASSPORT" not "APPLICATION"....I think I am just imagining things in this pessimistic drive.

Damnnn! I didn't see it earlier in the day else could have collected my passport from VFS. Now will have to wait over the weekend to know what my destiny!!!
