Changing TWES to Student and then to Work Permit

Dear All....

I hope someone can help me out. I have completed my first degree in Quantity Surveying September 2005. Before I graduate I have start working with a company in June 2005. Unfortunately, I did not know that they applied a TWES permit for me as it is not stated in the work permit paper send by the home office.

I then left the company in August 2006 and continue with my Master for a Year and I looking forward to complete my Master in January 2008. As when I start my Master, I have change the status back to a students.

Now, I have got an offer from a company to start at Feb 2008. They are looking forward to employ me for 5 years and they wanted to apply the work permit for me. I did mention my case to them abou the TWES and it seems like they still want to give it a try.

I am just wonder what are the chances that my application will be rejected and if it get rejected can I apply for IGS and then probably proceed with HSMP from there.
