Visit visa advice

I am in the process of writing the visitor visit sponsorship for my father.

I’ve done that twice in past and visit visa has been issues without any issues.

This time I had a new born baby (2 months ago) and need your advice
Should I mention that in the visitor letter that I had a new born and my father is here to see my baby (Ive read on post that can be a negative effect as HO might think father is here for care)

or

Should I keep the letter simple as previous occasions stating that my father is visiting me for few weeks? He last visited me around 14 months ago. I cannot visit him because of job and new born.

And should I apply for 2 or 5 year visit visa? Are there any recent letter templates available?
