Minimum payscale to bring dependant

Post by Marium » Fri Apr 01, 2016 5:20 am

Hello,

I have a question to ask. I'm working as a doctor here. I recently got married. I have a child from my previous marriage who is currently my dependant. I want to call my husband who is a Canadian national as my dependant. I was told by someone that I need to have atleast a minimum salary of more than 35k per annum to bring him as a dependant. Also, I was getting a new job, the salary of which is less than 35k. Can you please kindly let me know about the minimum salary one needs to have in order to bring their dependant?

Your help would be much appreciated. Thank you.

there is no min requirement for salary to call a dependent on tier 2.
you will however need to give enough evidence of continuity of your relationship with your husband while you have been apart. This can be in form of calls, whatsaap, emails, etc, in addition to mandatory docs like marriage certificate etc.
