Hi
My husband left me in March 2014( by that time my son is age 1 and we have working tax credit, child tax credit, CB)
After he left I claim income support
I lived in his mortgage house and pay the mortgage monthly till now
Luckily I apply for mortgage interest help though house is not my name , instead going to council house (£42 per week support now)
In Nov 2015, my husband come back and said want to divorce and want I leave the house
We lived together
He left one month around in mid Jan 2016 till Feb 2016
I applied council house while he left as I think I may need to move out after he come back as he gives me deadline to leave.
And I start to seek advice on divorce
On around 3rd March I received letter from housing benefit asking me sending supporting document , give me one month limit 29/3 before ,
I sent support document on 28/3
On 30/3 I went to CAB ask advice on divorce , I may let the advisor think I dunno the exact amount of benefit I received now, I just mean the exact penne I dunno , but I recall the situation he is doubt
On 31/3 I received letter dated 30/3, said I am benefit fraud and interview under caution. Doesn't say details even I call to confirm to attend the interview.
I would think firstly do I just simply bleach inform council someone move in ? As I need not to pay council tax
But to my honest, my relationship is broken I am prepared to divorce. I dunno this transit time do affect me?
Also I am not sure my current study is affected too? I have no hints why they suddenly think I am fraud.
I still attended the every six month interview in Jan ( I am not sure but should be Jan -March )
Also I applied 24+ loan to study in college now and I did £800 bursary from college , but I didn't tell the Job centre, I just think I may need to inform ??? and have offer from university in sept 2016 , I did tell that at the interview.
After student finance I know I need to stop income support , I really dunno what's happening do I need to find a solicitor as the letter say I can
But lawyer is too expensive to me
Any help or experience ?
I applied student loan in early March , may be this give doubt to benefit ?
