Change employer tier 2 general NVQ6 to NVQ4

Hi guys

I need urgent help. I am on Tier 2 General visa. I am granted visa 31st May 2012 however i had applied before 6 April 2012(when new rules came into effect). I am working in a group of restaurants as a Quality Control manager NVQ level 6. My current employer is going to sell his business and i need to take transfer. But i am finding it difficult to find the job under same title. I wanted to ask can i change my visa from NVQ 6 to NVQ level 4, then only i can get transfer as restaurant manger/training manager. I have heard that whoever got visa before 22 june 2012 , are able to switch NVQ level from higher to lower.Is it possible in my case?
Any help will be appreciated. Thank You
