Application form - COS number

Hi everyone,

I have some questions about filling the application form. In the online form, some fields are mandatory, marked with red stars. The entry for the COS number is not marked with a red star. Can I leave the COS number empty in the online application form and later fill in on the printed application form?

I will receive the COS number on 15 April. Due to some reasons, I must submit all the documents to the visa center on 18 April to guarantee that I can have the visa on time.
So I want to confirm the application form now, and make an appointment with the visa center now to make sure that I can choose the date I prefer.

You must have all of the following to be eligible for a Tier 2 (General) visa:

- a certificate of sponsorship reference number
- an ‘appropriate’ salary
- the required level of English

You must also have £945 in savings - this is to prove you can support yourself. You must have had this in your bank account for 90 days before you apply, unless you’re exempt.
