Visitor visa and travel insurance

Although I believe there are travel insurers that will do comprehensive travel insurance for my wife in Moldova, they are expensive. She comes here on a visitor visa the last week in April. I think a company called Nomad offers travel insurance for non-UK and non-EU residents like those in Moldova, but the cost is about 75 euros for a single return journey.

In Moldova, my wife can get only insurance to cover medical care in the UK on her visit. They simply do not have insurance that covers any situation but medical ones.

However, this medical insurance they offer in Moldova is a lot cheaper (about 20 euros) than the travel insurance I would have to take out for her from here in the UK.

For visitor visa purposes, would the UK immigration authorities be fine with her arriving in the UK with just medical insurance and not more comprehensive insurance? I would think that their worry is that she would be a "health tourist" and use the NHS system when she is here. But if she has this medical insurance, that problem is resolved?

What do you mean exactly when you refer to comprehensive insurance? It's irrelevant for immigration purposes whether she's covered for loss of luggage, personal property, holiday cancellation etc. She's simply required to have full medical cover during her visit.

Hello. I mean the type of travel insurance I take out when I go to Moldova. It also covers cancellation, a delayed flight, a missed connection, possibly a loss of baggage or property related to a flight. As well as payment of emergency medical bills, which the Moldovan variant only offers her apparently.

I would guess that the UK government is only interested in her attempting to use the NHS and not the other things included on a travel insurance policy, but I want to check before we decide.

If this is the case, she can buy only medical insurance in Moldova, where she resides, to satisfy the UKVI and take the risk that her flights are not delayed, etc.

As I've advised in the above post. To be brutally honest, the Home Office couldn't care less whether your wife misses her flight, loses her luggage, or someone steals her camera. They care very much however that she won't use the NHS facilities while she is a guest in the UK. Medical cover required only...the rest is up to you whether you pay for comprehensive cover or not.

Sounds good. I thought buying comprehensive travel insurance for her in the UK would be easy, but as she is a non-UK resident, is does not seems to be the case. Most policies say she has to be a UK resident.

I want to sponsor my parents from india.

I am living here with my relative so I dodnt have any tenancy agreement with me.

my relative is happy to give me letter conforming they will live here with me.

But what documents do I need to provide to back that letter?AS I have only bank statmnet and HMRC letters with relative address.

do I need to provide council tax letter and gas bill as its not on my name?

please guide me if possible.
