Child born in UK to parents with ancestry visa

Hello,
I am also wondering how it went as my husband and I are Canadians living in the UK on ancestry visas and have just had our first baby. We have a trip planned back to Vancouver in June for a family wedding. I was advised that I need to fill out the flr(o) form and pay £811 as well as a 200£ per year she charge. We don't plan on staying in the UK past this coming fall so I can't imagine spending this much for only a few months.

I am waiting on my daughters Canadian passport as well as proof of citizenship. I only have a one way ticket booked and wonder if there is a way to cancel/end my visa and book a return ticket from Canada to London and travel with my daughter as a visitor. We would only be coming back to pack up our flat etc.

Any advice would be appreciated.

The £811 is more than my husband and I had to pay for our visas in the first place! The burocracy in this country is too much!

If you don't plan on staying long, you can use you child's Canadian passport to bring her in and out.
