OVERSTAYER ON SPOUSAL VISA

Post by African Princess » Sat Apr 09, 2016 9:04 am

Dear Moderators, good day to you all, I am very grateful and happy for the advice you give here which helped me when I made my application. But now a friend of mine has a problem.

She came here on a 2.5 year spouse visa in 2012, she has three kids that are all British as her husband is British. They started having domestic problems around October last year and as a result, the husband refused to renew her visa which expired on December 30th 2015. They have reconcilled their diffrences and want to send an application to extend her visa next month. She has overstayed for over three months now. She has never worked since she arrived in UK. The husband is the sole provider.

Please based on your experience.

Will it be better for her to apply via FLR(M) or FLR(FP)

As I believe she might be refused for overstaying despite any reason that they give as an excuse for that.

Thanks for all your help.
