TIER 2 Dependent Visa-No BRP issued

Hi
My wife was issued a TIER 2 dependent visa which is valid for less than six months but she did not receive any information or letter about her BRP.
My question is, are Tier 2 dependents who hhave a visa for less than ssix months not required to have a BRP?

Is your visa end date and your wife's the same? If yes, she does not need a BRP.
