Tier 2 (General - Change of Employer) Maintenance Proof

Hi All,

Currently i holding Tier 2(General) visa, Working in UK
I got employment offer to other company, Received CoS from that company, In that Regarding maintenance there is question " Tick to confirm the sponsor certifies maintenance for the migrant: It is given as "No" for me,
As per the guideline i have to provide (bank statements) personal saving of at least £945 which must have been held for a consecutive 90 day period. But due to the current problem in my company i was only paid partly, so i'm unable to maintain that much amount in my bank.

What shall i do now.?

But at the same time, In Visa Guidelines first point on Maintenance says "You will be awarded 10 points if: you currently have entry clearance, leave to enter, or leave to remain as a Tier 2 skilled worker; work permit holder"

What does it mean ? ,
Im Already having visa ( Entry Clerance- & Leave to remain), So no need to provide bank statement for the proof of maintenace ?.. Am i right?....

Please clarify....

If you already have Tier 2 Entry clearance, you are already awarded 10 points and no need to get the Maintenance box ticked and no need to show bank statement of £945.

but if you are planning to apply for dependent visa (if any), then you need to submit one of them (maintenace tick or bank statement of sufficient amount as mentioned in guidelines) if they are applying from outside of UK

Please Verify my understanding... (For Self - not for dependent)
So the person holding Tier 2 (General) visa sponsored by the employer if he apply for new Tier 2 General due to change of Employer , no need to provide any maintenance evidence like "Yes" in the CoS maintenance question or Bank Statement showing saving of 945 for 90 days.

Another Query ..

In my CoS , there is question "

Does the migrant need to leave and re-enter the UK during the period of approval?

" Its is given as "Yes" for me. I'm Afraid, that do i need to go back to india and apply this Tier 2 general visa? Will it create any problem in issuing visa if i apply staying in Uk itself.

Please clarify?...

If you are not planning to travel outside the UK while your visa processing is going on, then it should have been 'No''. You don't need to travel back to India. You may want to ask the employer to get that amended (make a note in the CoS) that you are not planning to leave and re-enter during the period of approval.

Dear Friends,

I got one query , If you could please clarify my doubt,

Now I'm applying through Online for Tier 2 (General) Leave to remain visa due to change of Employer,

In online application - Current Visa section - There is a question " what type of Visa or Leave to Remain do you have?" and there is drop down list.
Im currently having Tier 2 (General) Migrant , But there no such option available in that drop down list.
The only option available in Tier 2 is "Tier 2 (General) Leave to remain".

What shall i do?, Shall i click other option and Type as "Tier 2 (General) Migrant".

Please help guys.
