Sponsoring 2 parties at the same time for visit visa

Post by hdsenevi » Sun Apr 24, 2016 7:22 pm

Hi all,

A bit of history
I have a Tier 2 general (Company sponsored) visa and I've been on this visa category for about 1.5 years now. I've been in UK for the past 8 years or so from student visa to PSW. Last December I sponsored my wife's parents for a visit. They came and left according to the visa they was granted (no overstay and such).

I'm planing to sponsor/invite my parents for a holiday soon and have send all the relevant documents that they would need for a successful visit visa grant. I hope they will receive it as they have visited UK for about 2 weeks for my graduation in 2009. My parents are traveling from Sri Lanka.

But I would like to sponsor/invite my aunt (mothers sister) for this family holiday as well. I can show sufficient resources (accommodation, bank statements and such) for both my parents and aunt. They will be showing their bank statements separately as well. My aunt is in UAE (Abu Dhabi) and she is a professional with 20+ years experience in her field. But she was rejected visit visa application twice before to UK. One of these instances was when I was trying to sponsor her.

Question
  • 1) Can I sponsor/invite 2 sets of parties (parents and aunt) at the same time?
    2) Would getting rejected twice before affect adversely for my aunts current application?
    3) Should there need to be a certain time gap between sponsored visits? As in, can I invite my parents to come for a visit even though my in-laws came for a visit not more than 5 months ago?
Thanks.

As far as you can provide evidence for sponsoring, you should be ok. With regards to your Aunt's previous rejection, you need to go through the reasons for previous rejections, without that info, we can only guess.
