Entry clearance and visa4uk site... some questions!

Hey all,

I've had a look through the visa4uk site which you need to fill in for EC from Australia... I have a few seemingly simple questions:

1. It doesn't tell me what evidence to provide for EC... I have all my doc's and payslips from the HSMP approval process - Do I only need those, or do I need up to date payslips too? My plan was to include: All my HSMP evidence and all my bank statements for the past 6mths, evidence of accommodation (hotel) and e-mails from recruiters/job search results.

2. The visa4uk site actually asks "what qualifications do you have relating to your field of work" and "how much experience do you have at the role" - How do I provide evidence for this? I don't have any qualifications (other than ISTQB) relating to my current job role. Also evidence for the years of work???

3. What "category" my wife fits in with this visa4uk site... It doesn't have a category specifically for "Dependant of a HSMP", it just has "Work Permit dependant more than 6 months"... ??? This site just seems to make hard work of the manual forms....

Can anyone help with this please? I don't want to provide 40,000,000 sheets of paper to the embassy to get EC, i'd rather give them what they need... It doesn't state anywhere that I need medical checks (I'm aussie born/citizen), or that i'll even need to provide a letter from my employer...

I might be able to help you. I applied through online system at BHC Wellington, and got EC in 5-7 days.. I am sure process for EC in Aussie and NZ are same.

1. I sent only HSMP letter, with my last 3 month bank statements, with my photos ,paid online fee and accommodation letter, my house sale documents with net profit to support my bank statement deposits. That's all. But if you need to apply with dependents then add all your supporting documents for ur partner and kids birth birth certificate along with your supporting letter that you will be supporting your partner during her stay in UK.

2. I only sent my CV

3. Select Permit Free Employment and then select dependent over 6 month.

So I don't need to include payslips for me or my wife? My HSMP approval letter was issued in August and i'll be applying for EC in the first week of Jan... So I wasn't sure if my payslips are too out of date (i've also changed employer!)...?

Aaron,

No you don't need for yourself, and if you wife is dependent on you then you need to declare it through written letter that you will be supporting your wife during her stay in UK, you can attach her bank statements to support EC funds.
