urgent help needed please wrong soc code

Long story short

I changed jobs (Same job title). Got offer, New emplouer have their own lawyer who filled and submitted mya pplication and now have same day appointment next tuesday. Two concerns

a- I already have tier 2 3.5 years. They have put start date of 3 june which is fine but end date of 3 june 2019 but have added a sponsor note saying end date should be october 2018 and that is the date when my 6 years complete. Will they consider this sponsor nnote and disregard the old wrong end date on cos. They said it should be ok but please confirm.

b- 2nnd is my SOC Code was 2139 on which i obtained lalst tier 2 for same job which is IT Professional not classified anywhere else andn my job title is security analyst. They have now chosen 2136 whiich is software professionals and i have eplained them that i have got visa successfully on 2139 and my responsibilities are not matching 2136. Mmy salary by the way is quite higher than both of them. Lawyer said it is alright but can check. I think it is a big problem iff the soc code is not matching irrespective of what salary is. Now they have already submitted my applicaiton. Can a sponsor note be added to mention about a changed SOC Code? i.e write that it was typo andn it is actually 2139 not 2136.

In a rush because oppointment by end of weke and really frightened

2. The SOC code must match the job description. If it doesn't the CoS must be cancelled and a new CoS assigned.

you can vary an application before it is decided. If the sponsor has an allocation a new CoS can be generated in a matter of minutes

You are very helpful. I guess my stars are bad. Just read the COS and RLMT Dates are not correct. Because of a month typo now rlmt dates in cos only read 5 days.

My appointment is next tuesday and i am horritifed. I am going to give them a call tomorrow.

Please correct me if i understood you correctly

a- We can get a new cos issued.
b- We can llaunch another application before tuesday and vary it.

Do you think in this time frame it is achievable. Ignore how quiick my lawyer will be. In terms of home office?

Also tell me if varying is nto an option then can we with draw? Will some refud be given.

The typo in the RLMT date can be corrected with a sponsor note.

The main issue is the SOC code which cannot be changed with a sponsor note. Does the code in the CoS match the job description given in the CoS? If it does there is no need to cancel the CoS.

it is all quite confusing now. They have now issued me a new COS

The COS has correct RLMT Dates.
The COS has correct SOC Code.

We prefer note to add a sponsor note because in last cos they put wrong end date by mistake and put a sponsor note to correct it so we decide instead of putting additional notes for SOC Code and RLMT Dates correction i asked for a new one.

It is in my hand h owever i am worried becuase my applicaiton is linked to old COS.

They have sent me an application to be printed out anad they have put a red marker note where it says does the application has cos they have written "PLEASE NOTE THAT APPLICANT HAS BEEN ISSUED AN ALTERNATIVE COS and they have put cos number"

They have also put this note on my check list.

I iwll be printing this and taking it with me.

They think it is ok though i thought it was better if they would have submitted a new application. What do you suggest?

Appointment is on tuesday and it is same day appointment.

The application is only actually submitted once you sign it and hand it in at the PSC. It is OK to vary an application before the decision is made on it. The only variation in your case is the CoS number.

Same-day premium service applications are supposed to be only for straightforward cases. I don't think that altering the CoS No makes your case not straightforward.

Last Question:

They have given me an appliication to be printed and as i said it has watermark note where it says COS Number a red marker says worker has been issued an alternative cos xyz.

Do i need to put a cover letter or just leave it as it?

Should i take the old cos with me as well or only new COS?

What sort of interview questions they can ask?

Yes my case is quite straight forward and there are not much loop holes.

As your new sponsor doesn't seem to be too conversant with the rules check that they have actually withdrawn the first (incorrect) CoS because it is against the rules to have two CoSs at the same time. This is important.

There is no harm writing, and handing in with the documents, a covering letter explaining that your sponsor has assigned a new CoS after you completed the online application because the first one was incorrect. There is no need to go into details.

Your appointment is not for an interview, the premium service is the same as a postal application but with accelerated processing and the decision will hopefully be made on the day you attend on the basis of the documents alone.

The sponsor or its lawyer may have helped prepare the application but remember that it is your application, not theirs, you signed it and you are entirely responsible for what is in it. Check it thoroughly.

You can take both CoS with you but this would only be for your records, the caseworker has access to CoSs through the system, s/he doesn't need your copy.

If your previous passports are available take them along, too. If not available, and they ask, explain why you don't have them with you.

I have not signed the application and the online submission does not requires the signature anymore.

Could you please clarify what exactly do you mean because i am confused about signing bit.

The lawyer asked me to fill some forms and give them my detail and documents but there are sort of no sign?

Do i need to sign at Premium centre?

Printed application is in front of me and there is no area to sign it. How do i sign it.

Lawyer has submitted on my behalf and send me the pdf.

I have printed it and taking it with me.

I believe before taking bimetric i will do a signature which means i am giving consent i am understanding what i am doing but the printed application in my hand i assume i cant sign?

Are you talking abotu the sign which i do at premium centre before i submit my application?
