i send on 6th May but no brp letter or Acknowledgement ,when ever i ring ukvi ,they say no records coming on the system,did you try to ring ukvi

About three times and told to wait.
Never checked the system because no one ever ask my Reference.

Yes

I'm waiting since 12-Jan-2016.

I think there is another person on this thread waiting since January.

I sent private messages to the people who submitted in Nov-Dec 2015 - no response.

There is one guy on another thread - he applied at the end-Oct 2015. Four days ago he replied that he is still waiting. Although he was self-employed and in April he was requested to go to a face-to-face interview. He did not clarify what was happening since April. Did he go to the interview, what happened, what was the problem? He is just still waiting.

From the records for last year - the turnaround was much quicker - 100-120 days.

I have submitted on the 1st of Feb and given Bio metrics on 11th of Feb (roughly) but just getting monthly emails. I think the best way is to upgrade as i don't see this changing as people are waiting for 6+ months now

I have applied on the 1st of Feb but haven't received any confirmation letter, but i did get Bio metrics letter in about 10 days roughly. We are waiting for the result since 5+ months so you need to sit tight : )

I am in the same boat : ( Don't know what to do as there is another cost of £1200 in my case for me and 2 other dependents. But from reading through this thread i can see that this would be the only solution now. Will wait for your input on this

You are lucky - I have no emails at all, nil. Apart from the acknowledgement and biometrics letter at the end of Jan.

My 6 months period will be up on the 12th of July. I will be obviously calling and pushing them in July. Also my employer has plans to send me to the Netherlands in September for some mandatory job training - I am going to ask them to issue the expediting letter if Home Office is unresponsive in July.

About the premium services upgrade - If you wish, this is up to you. For four of us it'll be £1600, quite a substantial amount of money these days for me. And we need to wait just for another 4 weeks to ring a bell. Certainly our summer holiday is ruined, but we are going to enjoy the south shores of England.

One person who is waiting 6+ months had some issues as he was self-employed, was called for an interview on his 5th month of waiting, so the Home Office is in fact responding within 6 months...

I am not planning to upgrade to be honest. I don't see a point as for homeoffice it's just a money making scheme nowadays ! 1200 is a substantial amount of money. You r the beat judge of your situation . I personally would wait until 6 months complete from the date of my application which is July 15 and then evaluate the situation .

My case wasn't that simple anyway but not as complicated as many others on the forum ; my self assessment for 14 15 went quite late but there wasn't any tax liability for that year. I do however see some people getting it rejected even for late filling of sa.
I am just keeping fingers crossed and think time is the best healer as well as a teacher

There are many applicants called for interview now a days. You can search for postal interview threads in the forum. There are couple of them who has shared their experience and the questions. Questions will be based on your previous applications and current applications self employment claimed and questions related to any tax amendments done. Do you have any tax amendments issue?
