Tier 2 Dependant Visa - Spouse/Partner Section

Hi All,

I was recently filling up the application for my wife to be applied from Mumbai, both of us are Indian citizens. I am on Tier 2 General and my wife's application was for 'Tier 2 General Partner, up to 3 years'.

In the online application there is a section for Family Details where you need to fill in:
1 - Spouse/Partner details,
2 - Parents details.

I was confused whether bullet point 1 was supposed to my wifes' or my details, so I called the helpline and they have confirmed that it has to be my (husband, Tier 2 holder) details i.e. applicants spouse.

One important thing to note is my wife is addressed as Applicant and I am referred to as Main Applicant in the online application portal.
