Why do you need it? Give more information so that people can advise you on that.

No Experience letters

Post by kiladik » Thu Jan 10, 2008 4:37 am

Hi,

I have already worked in a company. But I did not receive any experience letters from that company and the company is closed now. Till now I was showing the experience in my resume but when I send the documents to EC should I incude this experience also in the resume but dont have any proofs that i worked there, or shall I remove this experience from resume and can say that I have done some business or something else during this period.

Regards
KK

Still not sure why you need experience letters? HSMP a few years ago required them but it doesn't any longer. Employer letters are only needed to provide evidence of your earnings, and even then only as an alternative if the required evidence (eg tax return) isn't available. Check the guidance on what you need to provide, and if an employer letter isn't available look at the alternatives like bank statements, payslips, etc.

experience letters

I mean to say employers letters only. Even my relieving letter is not there and its almost 5 years back experience.

Just tell them the truth. You worked for a company that no longer exists, and unfortunately you don't have any paperwork relating to it. I wouldn't lie and tell them you did something else...

Good Luck!
