Typical questions at port of entry?

Post by seek hsmp » Sun Jan 06, 2008 5:03 am

What are some of the typical questions by IO at the port of entry in UK?

Are any supporting documents or evidence required such as

Original HSMP approval letter from HO
Job offer letter in UK
Proof of Funds to stay in UK
Proof of Accomodation arrangements
Any other documents submitted along with HSMP and/or EC application

...etc.

Do the IO officers (at the port of entry) require all details?

Kindly share your experiences...

It depends on the immigration officer, mate.

I would certainly have ALL my documentation with me, just in case it is requested.

All they asked me was do you have any other proof besides the passport label and what is your new occupation in the UK. So, I provided her with my HSMP letter and told her my job and was good to go. This was 2 days ago at London City Airport.
