Studying whilst on Maternity leave (Tier 2 visa holder)

Post by Nmarauka1 » Sat Jul 30, 2016 11:37 pm

I am currently on an employer sponsored Tier 2 VISA that is expiring in 2019. I am currently pregnant and will be going on a 1 year maternity leave starting this October of 2016.

I wanted to inquire if it will be possible to study full time for a one year Masters Degree (i.e. an MBA with the University of Oxford Said Business School) whilst I am on Maternity leave or I will have to get a Tier 1 visa to enable me to study. Your help is kindly appreciated.

Regards

Ayesha

If it is a full time course as you suggest then you will need a tier 4 visa

Do you have leave as a main Tier 2 (General) or a Tier 2 dependant?

Isn't the purpose of maternity leave to have babies; and that is, I have heard, a full-time job.
What gives?
