Proposed Accommodation, Long Term Accommodation

Post by b0d » Mon Sep 05, 2016 2:24 pm

Hi
Apologies if this has been answered I did look, I have also contacted UK Immigration and awaiting a reply (that will probably never come).

Fiance Visa

I propose to use my mums property which has a spare room as temporary accommodation for my spouse that she can stay in until we are married.

I would also like to use this property after we are married I also intended to use that property as "long term accommodation".

I assume this will be ok provided it can be substantiated that

1) property is not subject to overcrowding and is suitable to live in
2) permission from owner given

Thanks.

Fine, but in addition to your mother's letter of invitation you will also have to submit either a copy of the mortgage agreement or if owned outright, a copy of the property deeds.

If your mother is a tenant, a letter from the landlord agreeing to you and your spouse living in the accommodation.
