My friend has been recently granted a 12 months leave to remain visa under the 246a rule child right access as stated on the above links. Can you please let me know if not would it be OK for him to go on holidays for 3 weeks and if would you please let me know what will be maximum time that he is allowed to bve out of the country?

By doing so when is it the earlieast that he can apply for his ILR?
