Regarding Bank Statements

Hi Everyone,

I applied for Canadian Immigration under skilled class category in 2001 at CHC Islamabad. Pakistan. At that time I did not send my Bank statement alongwith the documents, now the CHC ha asked me to provide proof of funds. But the problem is that I opened a Bank account last month, but I have deposited the required funds in it.

What I'd like to know is that, Is is necessary to show transactions for the last six months or can I send CHC the statements for the last 1 month of my bank account.

Send the statement in but expect the visa officer to ask likely at interview with evidence as required:

1. Where did these funds come from?

2. How have you been banking prior to last month?
