Tier 2 ICT Long Term Migrant is only for 1 year and a month?

Hello,

My visa was accepted but i was under the impression that it would last for 3 years and not just 1year and a month. Is there a reason why this is? Could i still extend my visa? i plan on working for the same company when this visa is expired

the likely reason is that the period of engagement in the CoS was 1 year. Check the CoS.

It is up to your employer to decide how long they want to sponsor you for.
