Got HSMP approoval! Going to apply for FLR....

My HSMP application got approved couple of weeks back. Now I am going to apply for FLR since I am already in UK on work permit.

But I have some concerns regarding FLR. If I successfully get HSMP Visa, I believe the work permit I already have will be invalidated. In such a situation:

1. Can my current employer find out that I have changed my visa unless I inform them?
2. Can I continue to work with the same employer regardless of visa change? (I am currently on deputation through and Indian IT MNC)

I'll highly appreciate your valuable inputs.

Hello

1. If you swtich from WP to HSMP, your employer would not know it, until you tell your employer. HO would not tell your employer of the change of your status.

2. Of course, you can continue working for the same company.

1. Your employer would not come to know unless you tell them.

2. If you are on deputation that means you are employee of India location. In that case lot of companies pay the tax on the employee's UK allowance. This is possible because of the visa they had provided you. If you have already got your passport stamped with HSMP then you are on a new visa and might have to pay tax on your UK allowance. I guess you might need to seek some legal opinion here.
