In a few years time we'll look back on immigration control like we look back on American prohibition in the thirties - futile and counter-productive.

Personally I don't blame the British government for doing this. It is the SA government that is dishing out passports left right and centre.

Too many people from other countries in Africa and Asia are flooding South Africa buying fake passports claiming they are South African when in fact they are NOT.

The SA government is to blame for handing out passport to those who are not SA.

And it is very clear now that the new "rainbow" South Africa is heading the same way as the rest of Africa.

Suprise, Suprise, South Africa has now sunk to the levels of just another Banna Republic and a country out of controll.

So visa for South African's in future is only correct way forward and I hope it happens sooner that later.

Maybe the Banna Republic or what do they call it a Rainbow Nation, will wake up to good governace, but pig's might too!

God help Africa.

UK Visas at other embassies/BHCs have been going up as well, although maybe not as much as SA. I think the HO/BIA is cottoning on to the fact that visas being a lot cheaper abroad encourages a lot of people to renew visas back home.

As the saying goes, "God only helps those who help themselves" and unfortunately most African countries, including South Africa, seem intent on destroying themselves.

The Indian government could also do more to prevent these people from travelling from India to South Africa as well. Most of those obtaining South African passports illegally are from Gujerat state in India.

Thank God I've got my British passport, travelling on a South African passport seems like it's about to become even more difficult than it already is!
