Uk Visa expiring in less then 3 months need to travel europe

Hi,

If anybody can help!, my Uk visa is expiring on 18 may as i am hsmp holder and have to get extension.
I have urgent need to travel Switzerland but not sure if they will allow me to go on that visa duration, my stay will be very short ie for 8 days.
Hope anyone can guide me

What's your nationality?
Do you need a visa to visit Switzerland?
