How long after medical checks in India (mumbai)?

Hi All,

My wife has just undergone her medicals in Mumbai, India after her interview on Friday. I just wanted to know about other people's experiences in timing - ie: roughly how long it takes after completing the medical check-ups before you get the passport back from VFS with EC stamped all being well?

She has opted to collect her passport personally from VFS. We do appreciate that the medical advisor(s) need to forward their reports to the ECO at the Deputy British High Commissions office in Mumbai, who in turn issue the visa and forward the passport to VFS. We have been advised of a waiting time of upto 10-12 working days. Is there any chance of getting it any sooner?
