Not good. I still can't understand why people play fast and loose with their visa terms...

ghalib, if he was working full-time outside of his holidays, then he has violated his visa conditions and he is in deep trouble. It will be difficult as the home office will no longer see him as a genuine student.

Then what do u suggest what shall he do? Shall he withdraw his application and go back to his country and submit the thesis from there.

Any one have any idea what will happen after the first refusal. Will he still be able to comeback on IGS.

pls reply and help. My friend is going through mental torture.

At this point, I would prefer to wait for the opinion of other members of the board. Can your friend actually complete his thesis in his home country?

I am not sure about this. But may be university can give this permission if he has no other choice.

I am desperately waiting for the reply of other senior members.

Pet peeve, the use of genuine to absolve wrong doing.
Genuine student does not work fulltime. That is what a work permit is for.

Totally agreed.

One more thing he told me that he didn't work any single day when he was attending the classes until he gave the exam of all modules. This mean that he didn't work for approx 11 months continuously (from sep, 2006 to august)and he started work from August 2007.

will home office consider this or not?

ghalib
To be honest probably not, the net is tightening, there's 10 year bans from UK out there, all the slack has gone.

.

Not a happy Admin on this topic.

First ... 'dodgy' request for advice to get around illegal behavior .. well, we are usually tolerant of examples that are not blatant.

But then going in and erasing posts to try & hide that ..? That just ph#kk'd me off to no end.

Don't waste our time trying to get help here in engaging in illegal behavior.

If you've done something wrong & want to set it right, please feel free. There is a large community here willing & sympathetic toward helping.

Do not come here begging help to engage in further deception.

You are hereby invited to find another forum for that activity. Do not return. You or your 'friend.' We have your IP addresses logged, so don't try to get clever about it.
