EEA Family permit. traveling abroad

Hi there

I am still waiting for my EEA2 card but I need to travel outside the UK for a couple of days. So I'd requested my passport last week and received it today.
My EEA FP is valid till the 24 April so obviously I will travel and come back before that date.
I have done the biometrics bit but I still dont have the CoA...

However I am still paranoid they wont let me in?

Or am I okay to travel before it expires?
