HSMP application form

Post by Peace » Tue Feb 08, 2005 6:56 pm

Hello..

Can someone please tell me where I can get the HSMP application form and guidance notes. I have tried the website www.homeoffice.gov.uk but he only link relating to HSMP there i.e. HSMP (over 28 ) is not working.

Also is it true that there is no more the category of HSMP..just heard it from a friend and wanted to confirm..

Thanks

You can get the form here - it's near the bottom of the page.

As for your second question, Labour's new immigration policies came out yesterday, there's lots on this topic on the forum - but basically HSMP will be replaced by Tier 1 of the new points-based system. There is no consensus yet on when this change will take place. In the meantime, applications are supposed to be considered under the rules in place when the application is received.

It will take you some time to prepare the application, so keep your eyes out on the UK news, this forum, and on the workingintheuk.gov.uk website to see what changes. Good luck!
