Urgent Help with definition of "28 days for appeal"

Post by qazqazie » Wed Feb 09, 2005 11:30 pm

Hi all,

Apologies if this is a stupid question. In calculating the number of days do you include the day you receive the letter ?

E.g., my g/f was refused entry clearance for a student visa in Mexico on 17th Jan. She was handed a copy of the notice on the 17th so the clock starts ticking from the 17th. I just am not sure if the 17th istelf is calculated as one of the days.

If its not then we got until Monday the 14th if it is we are kinda tight for time as it will have to be in for Friday 11th Feb.

Help appreciated !

Don't bother with appeal. It will take ages to deal with.
Just get the missing docs and back to the embassy to re-apply. If all docs are ok she will get her visa approved within 2 days.
