Lost Passport In UK

Hi

I lost my passport in UK, applied to HCI London 23/03/11, till date no news.

Does anyone know how long will it take to get a replacment passport.

Everytime I email them (they do not bother answerng the phone), I get standard reply "file under progress"

Any help will be appriciated.
