student visa refusal/appeal and long residency

Post by whyme » Wed Feb 27, 2008 12:06 am

My visa extension as a student was refused by the Home Office, but I’ve been given the chance to appeal, the IAT hearing is set to be in three weeks time.
The reasons for refusal was that “you have not produced satisfactory evidence that you have made satisfactory progress in your course of study, including taking and passing of any relevant examinations.â€

Perhaps you can ask your head of department to write a letter detailing the progress you have been making in class and in your courseworks.
