Youth mobility after tier 2 partner rejection?

Post by Medic000 » Tue May 30, 2017 4:09 pm

Hello,

I'm really at a loss here. I am working on a tier 2 visa as a paramedic in the UK. My partner recently applied for a tier 2 partner visa. After some poor advice from the ambulance service and a complete lack of information on the visa application page her visa was denied due to not supplying sufficient information to prove our relationship (all of which we have but were never asked for).

Anyhow we have decided to cut our losses and have her apply for the tier 5 youth mobility. My question is whether there will be a problem getting this after being denied for the tier 2? This is really stressing us out as I will likely have to quit my job and leave the uk if she is not allowed in.

Thanks for any advice.

No, but it seems an odd choice. Why not apply again as a Tier 2 partner?
I do not give immigration advice. I refer you to Immigration Rules, guidance, other online content and to your sponsor.
