Hello Zimba and other gurus,
Please help me in getting my employees issue right for extension. I know this issue may have been discussed previously but I cant find any post to help me.
I have employed two part time staff over twelve months. The first one has worked average 15 hours per week from January 2016 till May 2017. The other has worked 15 hours per week from July 2016 to May 2017(still working).
My question is will HO only consider when the two workers worked parallel ie July 2016-June 2017 or each employee hours will be calculated separately? The first employee has clocked over 1120 hours over 17 months while the other currently has 814 hours over 12 months. The problem is if only hours worked at same time is calculated, first employee will be only 727 instead of 780 required.
Second, even though both have worked 30 hours a week, it is usually about 120 -125 hours a month. Will this be an issue? I know this issue has been discussed before but no post has answered this specific question. Any assistance will be appreciated.
