URGENT HELP NEEDED : EC processing

Hi folks,

i applied for EC on 7th feb, but i am sure it will be rejected as i didn't show much funds in my account and assets for support (i was not aware it mattered :( )...
Neways now it is 3 weeks since i applied for EC and till date didn't get any updates from them.

Now i want to know when i can reapply for EC (since i am sure it will be rejected), OR if appeal (given a chance) is as effective as reapplying?

Also 6 months of my HSMP will expire on 19th april, So is it ok if i apply for EC 1 week before 19th April or the time line has to be much before that?

Help me fast :((
