UK to Switzerland - Work Permit valid period

UK to Switzerland - Work Permit valid period

Hello,
I have a UK Work Permit valid upto 21nd May and I would be travelling UK to Switzerland on March 20st for 4 days tour. Will I be able to travel or is there any criteria wherein the work permit should be valid until 3 months from the date you leave Switzerland like in case of Schengen Visa.

Please advise.

Your visa for the UK should cover the period of your stay in CH and there are no additional conditions attached..

I too have similar problem of Shivani wherein I am also planning to travel with my wife to Switzerland from UK on March 21st, 2008 and my UK permit is valid upto May 13th, 2008.

As per your response, you have stated this should not be an issue with respect to WP validitiy. However, I wanted to know what is CH in your response and also whether there will be any clause on the dependent visa when traveling to Switzerland.

CH = Confederation Helvetique, also known as Switzerland, Suisse, Schweiz, Svizzera or Svizra, the last 4 in the 4 national languages.
