i am married to a citizen of spain and currently live there. i am in the process of recieving my residence card. i have the possiblity of a job either in the uk or holland as i would be going and coming back my wife would stay in spain would i need a work permit from the uk or holland or would the one i have from spain allow me to do this.

Your right to move and work freely within the EU is only when you are doing it with your wife. If she goes with you to the UK (or another member state), and works or is self sufficient or is a student, then you can work there.

If she lives in spain, then you do not benefit from the right of free movement.

...and thus would require a work permit/sponsorship from your employers according to the country's immigration rules.
