EC After april from India

If i apply EC after april from india.I will get 2 years or 3 years visa?

which one to file...Ec or Tier 1

i am planning to apply in April for EC(its not FLR). After going through the sites got confused!!! whether to fill in the VAF2 form or the Tier 1.

Please answer this questions since it would be helpful for those applying in april and has an HSMP approved..........:-)

You need to fill with tier-1 form if you apply after april.
can anyone tell me if somebody apply EC after april whether its 3 years or 2 years

cooldude...

can you post the link which says that we have to apply Tier 1. everywhere it says like people applying from UK. or Leave to Remain.

After april, people who is applying from india needs to use tier-1 form.

Yes.. its the tier 1 we need to apply after April 08. I confirmed this with Home office chennai.
But they didnt answer my question whether it would be 2 years or 3 years....that we would be granted..!!.. lets wait and see....
Can any one share the Tier 1 form....??

Looks like there is lot of confusion on this. In fact, I am also currently holding the HSMP approval letter received from UK home office, and planning to aply for EC in the month of April. In this regard, can somebody thorow light like

a) Where can I get the Tier 1 application form?
b) Should this Tier 1 application be submitted to VFS along wiht EC application or be sent to UK homeoffice?
c) Do I still need to provide evidence that I have consistently maintained a balance of 800 GBP in my savings account?
