Help : How to find accurate Eligible Date for ILR

Post by tsp » Wed Mar 12, 2008 10:44 pm

Hi Friends,

I m bit worried about change of ILR rules(Path to citizenship). My first visa stamp was on 23/03/2004 and entry to UK on 28/03/2004.

What is the date/month/year I would be eligible to apply for ILR. is it 23/02/2009 or 01/03/2009.

Help would me much appreciated.

Regards
tsp.

depends on what types of visas u have held and whether in between u have renewed visas abroad and re entered on new visas. ur information is too little to give a meaningful reply. certain classes of visas are not eligible for ILR at 5y and will only be eligible at 10y legal stay in uk if there are not breaks of status inbetween. like i said the info u gave is too little and vague to give a proper reply
