Need advice

Hello

I'm Filipina married to Irish national. We applied for spouse visa just this September. We submitted the requirements but found out through their website yesterday that I needed to submit my personal bank account. I thought my husband's bank account/statement is enough. Can I send additional documents or should I wait for the decision? I know it would take a long time for the decision to know but I'm worried about it.

I suppose you have not received acknowledgement letter yet. I will say, wait for the letter first as you need know what your application number is. Make a copy of the document you want to send and write a cover note(remember to include the application number in the letter). Post it out to them and you receive an acknowledgement letter as well.

Is the reference number same as application number? When I filled out the online form they gave me reference number. We just applied this September 6. I haven't received any acknowledgement letter.

I guess the online form you are referring to is the for you filled out online when you where booking your appointment.

When you send an application, you receive acknowledgment letter thereafter and the letter would have you application number. That is the number you need to include when writing your cover note.
